Donate to our Silent Auction
We are seeking donations of items, services, or experiences that families, businesses, or organizations may be willing to contribute. These do not need to be extravagant—popular auction items often include things people already enjoy or use.
Examples include:
- Gift cards (restaurants, retail, services)
- Tickets or experiences (sports, events, lessons, camps)
- Professional services (photography, tutoring, home or yard services)
- Vacation stays or weekend getaways
- Themed baskets (family night, date night, self-care, outdoor fun)
- Handmade or specialty items
Connect Us with Donors or Sponsors
If you have a relationship with a local business, organization, or individual who may be willing to donate, we would be grateful if you would reach out on our behalf. We are happy to provide a Silent Auction or Sponsorship Packet to make this process easy.

- All donations are tax-deductible
- Donors will be recognized during the Gala
- The donation deadline is March 30 for the donation or sponsorship to be recognized in promotional material

Why is the Silent Auction so important?
The Silent Auction is a major component of our primary fundraiser of the year. The funds raised directly support our students, programs, and the overall mission of LVA and VFCA. Strong auction participation allows us to continue providing excellent educational opportunities.

Do I need to purchase something to donate?
No. Families are not expected to purchase items. Many donations come from businesses, organizations, or individuals that families already have relationships with. Simply making an ask can be a tremendous help.
Can I ask a business or employer to donate?
Yes, and this is one of the most helpful ways families can support the Gala. If you would like, we can provide a Silent Auction or sponsorship packet to share with potential donors.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes. All eligible donations are tax-deductible, and donors will receive appropriate documentation and recognition.
What is the donation deadline?
The deadline for Silent Auction donations is March 30, allowing time for organization, promotion, and display planning.
